Semi-transparent color-shifting battery icon shows status.

When enabled, the slide lock appears after your backlight times out, to preserve battery life and prevent unwanted input and accidental calls while the phone is in a pocket or bag.

When enabled, the charging monitor appears when you plug in (either computer or A/C adapter), and disappears when you unplug. The screen is dimmed if you've selected to have it stay on during charging.

- Slide battery off the screen left or right to simply unlock,
- Slide battery off bottom to stop locking until done with current app,
- Slide up for settings, where you can set any app(s) to be excluded from locking

Notifications appear if battery overheats during charging, or is too cold for charging without damage.
