There are NO limitations on the number of stocks you can track with StockPulse. StockPulse has detailed technical charts (from one day to almost 5 years), detailed stock information and has support for retrieving historic prices of a stock. StockPulse uses Yahoo! Finance API's and symbols and you might have to add the correct suffix (.NS, .BS etc,) for the symbol to be recognized correctly.

1) Why does the app ask for File Access Permission?
StockPulse uses a "local" database to store the scripts which you have entered into the application and retrieve/restore them back on next launch. We DONT access any of your personal files or transmit any out of your device. The File Access Permission is needed for StockPulse to access this local database and retrieve/store values. This is perfectly safe and there are no privacy concerns around this.
2) Why don't I sometimes see any news in the News tab?
StockPulse is designed in a way that it only shows relevant market news about the scripts you. You might not see any news items in the News tab if you have not added any scripts or if there are no relevant market news available at that point of time. Very rarely, the news service might by itself return errors which are out of our control.
StockPulse ver 1.0.5 now uses a new and better service to fetch your financial news. If using a prior version of StockPulse it is highly recommended to update to the latest version.
3) Is there a watchlist feature in StockPulse?
Yes! The latest version (1.0.4) of StockPulse includes this most requested feature. You can now add stocks to a watchlist and track their performance in as much detail as your portfolio.
4) I can’t get past the splash screen, what’s wrong?
This happens if you denied file access permission when you first launched StockPulse.
To fix this swipe from top right of Playbook bezel in -- settings -- security --applications permissions -- StockPulse -- Change "Files" dropbox to "Allowed".
